“We were referred to Aspiring Minds Wellness Center by our pediatrician. Our experience has been rewarding thus far, even when I expressed feeling dismissed when communicating my challenges with my child. Ms. K was able to provide further clarification to address my concerns. I was able to better understand her meaning behind her statement, which was extremely helpful. I appreciate Ms. K welcoming all questions and concerns & providing education at each appointment”.
-Client with oppositional, defiant, and argumentative behaviors family, Age 14
“When we first met NP Bethea, our daughter was struggling with extreme anxiety, school avoidance, and panic attacks. We experienced challenges with a previous provider so we switched to NP Bethea after locating her on Psychology Today. Since working with NP Bethea our daughter has been able to return to school, manage her emotions better, and is thriving tremendously”
– Client with anxiety family, Age 12
“I found the Aspiring Minds Wellness Center through Therapy for Black Girls. I was able to review NP Bethea’s profile and felt as if it was speaking directly to me. NP Bethea turned out to be easy going, a great listener, and gives good advice. The most impactful things I experienced so far is learning that depression is an illness and experiencing the natural human touch NP Bethea has with her clients. Overall my experience has been going very well and I look forward to our sessions together”.
— Client with Depression, Age 49
“I found NP Bethea on Psychology Today while looking for a provider that is a woman of color. Reading her profile was reassuring due to the nature of her directness and sharing what she cares about. I truly appreciate her openness, human nature, and directness in our sessions. NP Bethea has deprived everything her profile said she would and has been genuine through the time we’ve been working together. I look forward to recommending her to people I encounter that are in need of help”
— Client with Anxiety and ADHD, Age 34
“ I have been working with NP Bethea for over 2 years. She has always been supportive of me through my healing journey. She helped me with advocating for myself and adjusting my treatment to my desires. When I started working with her, I was a sophomore in college experiencing daily panic attacks, class avoidance placing me at risk for probation; as well as, sleep and appetite disturbances. I am not a college graduate and started my first official adult job that I am managing pretty well. I truly appreciate NP Bethea’s treatment approach, support for autonomy and shared decision making, and her communication style”.
-Client with Anxiety, Age 22

Yes! We offer secure telehealth sessions for clients. Our Aspire Outpatient Psychiatry Program is telehealth only and The ASPIRE VIllage program offers primarily telehealth services but includes in person (office and home) sessions on a case by case basis.
Your first appointment in the Aspire Outpatient Psychiatry Program is designed to help you feel welcomed, understood, and supported as we begin working together. The initial visit is a 45-minute virtual intake appointment with a Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), focused on getting to know you, identifying your concerns, and developing a plan for ongoing care. Your provider will discuss next steps with you at the end of the session and schedule your follow up as recommended.
One-Time Enrollment Fee & Intake Scheduling
After submitting your interest form or referral, families complete the one-time $500 enrollment fee, which secures the first appointment and initiates record review and coordination. This is paid electronically by invoice- we accept credit cards, debit cards, and HSA/FSA cards- coming soon.
Comprehensive 90-Minute Intake Appointment
Your family meets with the psychiatric provider, medical provider, and/or therapist for a full evaluation of emotional, behavioral, developmental, academic, and medical needs.
During this session, we will:
- Discuss current challenges and goals
- Review previous diagnoses, treatments, and school history
- Identify strengths and support needs
- Order necessary baseline labs and/or genetic testing, if desired
- Clarify information obtained during record review
This ensures we fully understand your child’s journey before recommending next steps.
Tier Selection & Program Orientation
You will choose a monthly membership tier—Lite, Essential, or Premier—based on your needs. You’ll then receive:
- A welcome packet
- A schedule for your first month
- Access instructions for your care team
- Emergency and crisis support procedures
- Contact information for your case manager and/or provider
Begin Your A.S.P.I.R.E. Journey
Once enrolled, your family officially gains access to:
- Direct provider communication
- VIP scheduling
- Monthly virtual treatment team meetings
- Support groups- beginning summer 2026
- Wellness retreats- beginning summer 2026
- A “village” of coordinated professionals working together to support your child
From day one, your family becomes part of a community-centered, whole-person program designed to help young minds heal, grow, and thrive.
The A.S.P.I.R.E. Village Program and the Aspire Outpatient Program offer two distinct levels of care to meet the unique needs of families. The A.S.P.I.R.E. Village Program provides a full “village” of multidisciplinary providers, concierge-level access, extensive advocacy, and fully coordinated wraparound support through a monthly membership model designed for families who need intensive, collaborative care across multiple areas of life. In contrast, the Aspire Outpatient Program is an insurance-based virtual only service that offers access only to a PMHNP and therapist, follows a standard pay-per-visit structure, and bills all additional services separately, as they are not covered by insurance. The cost comparison table below illustrates these differences clearly, helping families understand the expanded value and comprehensive support included in the A.S.P.I.R.E. Village Program versus the more traditional structure of the Aspire Outpatient Program.
